it's winter holidays now and i have nothing better to do than watching christmas movies, eat & sleep.

so today i decided to update my blog since i've neglected it for months
due to my laziness & busy-ness & exam-ness.

voila! here's my apple cinnamon pie recipe!

these are all u need to make a creamylicious apple pie. and oh! u need to have ur dough pastry too. u can either make it urself, or buy the ready-made one. well, i bought mine.

i usually use feuilletée or brisée. i've never tried sablee. and fyi, most of dough pastry in france have alcohol. so Marie's the only brand that doesn't contain alcohol (at least the only brand that i could find).

okay, it's so easy now. i mean, my lazy-way of baking is always easy. just poke some holes on ur dough pastry (with forks) then bake it for 15mins at 180 degree celcius.

while baking it, cut 4 apples into very small cubes, and 1 apple into thin slices. To make the filling, melt about 50g of butter in a pot, add in some honey, some fresh cream, & some cinnamon. (the quantity depends on u. we'll use the "throw & taste" technique) so just throw in the ingredients & let ur taste buds decide when to stop. then put in the diced apple. cook them until they're soft.

take out the dough pastry from the oven, and take ur filling off the stove.
cool them both at room temperature for about 10 mins. then put the apple  filling on the pastry, top it with the sliced apples we've prepared earlier. u can spread some honey & egg yolk on the sliced apples to give them a lil shiny gold colour! put ur pie in the oven for 30mins at 180°c.. and enjoy!

7 jam ooo.. tido bgon, tido bgon, x smpai2 agy. Huhu.

Yang best kt ganu nie ialah laut die yg cantek gile.. mmg sungguh2  biru die!
Pastu taman tamadun islam die pon lawa, especially masjid Kristal.

Yg x best nye,, cume orang2 die je. Rakyat jelata die mia x sure baik ke x, sbb mia xpnah ade kawan ganu. Tp rasenye org ganu kt kL sume ok je kot.. yg ktorg plg x suke kt sane is peniage2 die. Sombongnye na’uzubillah ! especially gerai makan. Dah 2 kali ktorg gy ganu, dah byk kdai mkn ktorg try,, muke masing2 bongkak cm kuda laut. Amek order cm nk taknak je. Pastu harga makanan die,, kalah mkn kt hotel. Hati2 kalo mkn kt kdai yg xde buku menu & harga,, cm kt tepi pantai.. aritu ktorg mnom air klape & balls cucuk2 tuje, tbe2 kne 98 rggt. Rase nk teberak mendengornye. Seb baek papa yg bayar, kalo mia yg kne byr, mau cirit birit kt situ!

Yg last week plak ktorg lunch dekat pantai batu buruk. Bukan kt tepi pantai pon, dlm kawasan batu buruk tuje, ade deretan kedai2 mkn.. die hidangkn byk lauk utk nasi campur. Pastu ade jgk balls cucuk2 tu.. mia nie gedik, jarang  mkn nasi, slalu gy kdai mkn mihun tomyam. Tp time tu ade nasi campur je, so mia decide utk mkn cucuk2 tula.. Pastu mia x order air sbb nk mnom mineral water je dlm handbag, budak yg amek order tu buat muke x puas ati. Padahal mia ckp leklok je xnk air. Siap senyum agy. Pastu die tye2 byk kali “taknak air ke?!” eh,, org kate taknak, taknak ah. Boleh pakse2 plak.. Pastu dok berjegil mata pandang mia. Rase nk tampar je!

bdk tudung purple tula yg x puas ati mia x order air. comel kn die? huhu.
oh, saw that plate? it costs 21 rggt. Cume 1 sausage, 2 crab sticks, 1 sotong goreng tepung.
Papa mkn nasi putih & aym goreng kecik je = 6 rggt. Oleh sbb mia sgt musykil, mia pggil makcik tu.. mia tye la, ape mende yg 21 rggt ni makcik?
Dgn angkuh, riak & sombong, die tunjuk sotong : 17. Ketam : 2. Sausage : 2.
ooohh.. sotong goreng tepung yg xde rase pape tu 17 hengget.. patut a mase mia mule2 amek sotong seekor tu, mia suh die kire, die ckp nanti die kire, potong dlu. pastu die tros gunting2 sotong tu, spy kte xley nk letak balek. rupenye 17 rggt.. Kelasssss kau jahhhh! mkn kt restoran prancis pon x semahal nie! Huhu.

Xde niat nk tutup periuk nasi org, but as tourist, mia just nk share spy org laen x terkena. Rasenye dorg mmg akn ‘ketuk’ org lua,, especially kte yg xreti ckp loghat dorg & die nmpk plate number kete W, mmg die letak harga sukati die je. And, for those yg pike seafood kt ganu murah sbb dorg dkt laut, korg silap a.. ikan pon mahal kt sane. Better korg mkn kt flaming steamboat sblah sunway pyramid tu je. Boleh mkn seafood smpai gout! Haha. So kalo sape yg nk becuti kt ganu & bajet x brape tggi, better gy mkn kdai yg fixed price, or b4 amek makanan tu, tye dlu bpe rggt, spy kte x kne tipu k.

p/s: if u're reading this syirasyira,, i am sorry for u. tp nk wat cano? bertahan jela ye adek ku yang gagah. ade 4 sem je agy. heeee.. chayok!! :D 

a lil reminder

skang ni kn ngah bz kempen pilihanraye kn? ye, ye, walaupon x nmpk poster merate2 & perarakan kt jalan raye,, tp tgk home FB tiap hari pon dah cukup buat kte rase rimas & geleng2 kepale.

honestly, im not interested in politics. tp oleh sbb kte malaysian & bkn canadian (tibe2 je), kte kne amek tau gak sket2 sbb pilihanraye ni tentukan keadaan MALAYSIA KITA (rindu!! hehe ) utk 4 tahun akn dtg.

tak salah nk berkempen, dah name pun tempoh berkempen, so amek lah mase ni utk gebang parti masing2. dlm tempoh ni la kte nk tabur janji mcm2 utk convince org utk undi kte. tak salah pon. ape2 pilihanraye pun mesti ade 'tempoh berkempen'nye kn? tapi jgn la jadi kn tempoh berkempen ni sbg tempoh kte menambah dose ye kawan2.. fitnah org, bukak aib org, gaduh ngan jiran2..

Berkempen tu jgn la propa yg terlampau.. syurga tu ganjaran tertinggi yg Allah kasi, logic ke cume dgn 1 undi kte dijamin syurga?? ohhh senang sgt lah nk dpt syurga kalo camtu. (boleh wat gwiyomi je hari2. yeayy!!)

Gebang lah nk gebang tahap gaban pun.. kasi wangi parti masing2,, tp jgn la busukkan parti laen.. tak payah sebok2 nk jatuhkan org.. InsyaAllah kte sume ada tujuan yang same : mengharapkn pemimpin yg adil, & pentadbiran terbaik iaitu pentadbiran cara Islam. So, dlm berkempen utk menegakkan Islam, jgn la smpai kte sdri yg menjatuhkan martabat Islam.  Drpd kte bergigih fanatic kempen ntah pape, baek kte doa byk2 spy Malaysia aman damai, jauh dr sume kejahatan & keburukan.

arini nk cite pasal menjadi makhluk asing a.k.a alien di sesuatu tempat. huhu.
mase kt msia, mia x pnah sedar how thankful it is to have surau in every shopping complex. bile dok kt france ni baru lah rase sedih sbb susah nk jalan2 lame2 sbb xde tmpat nk solat. huhu. susah, france ni dahla keji, kalo solat kt tempat awam, boleh kne marah. Pasal tudung pon cmtu gak, mase mule2 dtg dlu mmg rase kalo pkai tudung, mmg kne discriminate abes ar.. mmg pike yg xkn ade french yg nk kwn ngan kte langsung ar.. huhu. i was really stupid.

spanjang dok kt france nie, dah byk kali gak ktorg solat jemaah kt tempat awam. dah desperate, nk wat cano? haha. So far bru pnah kne tegur skali je, ngan guard ktdisneyland. ala,, bukan kne msokjail pon kn? so ble kne tegur tu just buat muke cute, pastu ckp omputeh instead of ckp french "ohh, we can't pray in public? we're sorry, we didn't know" bajet2 tourist laa. haha. pastu sambung jela maen ngan mickey mouse! xde maknenye pak guard tu nk halau kte. kte bayar tiket mahal kot! haha. and kalo ade kwn french dtg umah utk discussion ke ape, then msok waktu solat, mia mntk pause jap, kasi dorg biskut ngan air, pastu mia solat jap. huhu. Pastu mesti dorg akn tye sumtg psl solat.. (cube la try kalo x caye!) huhu. muslims obligated to pray ke? nape? brape kali sehari? haaa.. tula mase kte nk membunga2 kt dorg psl islam! kehkehkeh.

pasal tudung & aurat plak, i was so wrong, kwn2 kt Univ xde pon discriminate org pkai tudung. (xtau la kalo2 ade,, tp x obvious pon) Dorg ckp dorg cume rase awkward sbb xtau cara nk approach & tkot tersalah cara and dianggap disrecpectful. So ble kte start approach dorg, dorg happy je kwn ngan kte.. and some of them even praise our tudung! colourful. all this while they thought hijabs only exist in black,, sbb org arab kt france ni sume pkai hitam je.. org mlayu je pkai kaler2. huhu. pastu last week mia gedik sket pkai boots & jacket gy klas sbb x sejuk sgt. (slame ni pkai snickers & coat tebal yg same je hari2. huhu) ade org french tegur ckp u look elegant, i like ur style. padahal dlm jaket tu pkai tshrt muslimah 30 rggt tuje. haha. Nk nmpk cantek x smestinye kne sexy, even pkai jubah pon boleh nmpk cantek taw! adore style Madame French kt Semashur! (tibe2 je. huhu)

kalo kt msia pon same gak, skang ni rmai je melayu yg amek mudah bab solat nie.. dlu mia pnah kje 7E lpas SPM. ditakdirkn pkeje2 kt ctu sume x solat bile waktu keje.. mule2 cm cuak nk mntk break solat, tp mia wat bodoh je, mntk kt boss,, pastu boss clearkn 1 space kt store, and siap provide tikar utk solat agy.. alhamdulillah dpt je mia solat stiap waktu. and lame2 ade pkerje laen yg ikut solat jgk. isn't that sweet? mia sgt happy & hopefully die still x tggal solat smpai skang (even mia dah lame benti) haha.

So, don't be afraid to be different, allah bkn saje nk susahkan hamba die, tp allah tau that u are capable to make others your followers In syaa Allah  ^_^

it has been quite a while since the last time i updated my blog. been busy with classes. this week is winter hols, so i get to spend some time dating with my blog :) Well, today we'll just talk a lil bit about hypocrisy: as i think i've seen too much of it these days.

i guess i've seen, met, & experienced, so many hypocrites in my whole 21 years of living. generally, hypocrites are those who pretend to be nice in front of you, but they talk behind ur back. Sadly, nowadays i've seen worse hypocrites whoplay God's name to cover the bad things they did. By having the angelic look on their faces, and by posting islamic phrases for themselves in public.. yeah,, they manage to melt people's heart & gain people's trust. But hey, have u been honest to Allah?

all of us worship Allah. but it's not necessary to show it with words. Show it with actions. If we really love Allah, then do what He tells us to do.. He never told us to be munafiq.. but He wants us to have good akhlak. Don't lie, don't hurt ur friends' feeling, do tolerate with others.. that's how we keep a happy relationship and a peaceful society.

Do spread ilmu & dakwah through internet. it's the best & fastest way to bring others to the right path. No matter how bad u think are, u still have the right to share the ilmu u have. But u dont need to pray for urself on fb, twitter, or wutever social network's wall. Where's the promise u made in ur 5 times prayer?
"You alone we worship, and from you alone we seek for help"??

I'm sorry, but sometimes when i see someone posting prayers for themselves every 10 minutes on their social network's wall,, i feel weird.. it feels like u're showing ur good deeds to everyone when it supposed to be only between u and Allah. i really hope they never had any bad intention evtime they post these prayers. i hope i was wrong.

i believe that everybody wants to be good. ask anyone,, even murderers wish to end up in paradise.
i mean,, who doesn't? we all know how great & beautiful the paradise is..
So why should we give up, friends?? I, myself, have commited sins. I, myself have felt the same.
rase cm Allah pon da bosan dgn taubat2 kte,, beriye taubat, tapi pastu buat dose agy..

Alhamdulillah, after some sessions of usrah, sharing on FB, videos of UAI,, one thing yg mia sedar,
is that every living human on earth, still has the chance to repent, and to ask forgiveness from Allah.
selagi kte hidup, selagi tu la kte ade peluang utk bertaubat. Sbb Allah tu kn AR-RAHMAN (maha pengasih),
AR-RAHIM (maha penyayang) dan AL-RAUF (maha pengasih). "MAHA" people! dahla "MAHA", 3 kali plak tu sifat yg same. maknenye, sebanyak2 mane pon manusia syg kte, Allah tu syg kte berkali2 ganda agy byk! So kalo manusia pon boleh maafkn kte, inikan pula Allah?
Allah tu jgk AL-AFU (maha pemaaf) AL-GHAFFAR dan AL-GHAFFUR (maha pengampun & maha pengampun sgt2) maybe agy clear maksud die kalo kte fhm bahasa arab. dan name Allah AT-TAWWAB plak maksudnye
MAHA MENERIMA TAUBAT.

"tetapi barang siapa bertaubat setelah melakukan kejahatan itu, dan memperbaiki diri, maka sesungguhnya Allah menerima taubatnya. Sungguh, Allah maha pengampun, maha penyayang" -Al Ma'idah, ayat 39

Therefore, we shouldn't be wasting time, thinking whether Allah will forgive us or not. Sbb kte xtau bile tertulisnye ajal kte. today might be our last day, or tomorrow, or the day after.. who knows?
so why take the risk? segerakan lah taubat.. sesungguhnya Allah itu AL-ALIM (maha mengetahui), AS-SAMIK' (maha mendengar) dan AL-BASIR (maha melihat). Allah tau keikhlasan & kesungguhan kte utk bertaubat. Allah dengar penyesalan dan doa2 kte. Allah nampak usaha2 kte utk menjadi yg lebih baik. "Jika kte mendekati Allah dgn berjalan, Allah mendekati kte dgn berlari". Allah tu sangat2 sayang kt kte.. So why shud we run away??

Allah itu bersama sangkaan hambanya. So, stiase lah bersangka baik terhadap Allah ye! ^o^

Kalau2 korang rase malas nk google search..
arini mia nk gtau korang pasal 7 sunnah rasulullah salAllahu alaihi wasalam.

kalo sape yg dah tau tu, alhamdulillah la ye.. huhu.

1. TAHAJJUD
   kalo rase berat sgt nk qiam, at least solat tahajjud 2 rakaat sblom msok waktu subuh.
   frankly, sangat susah nk buat kalo kte x biase.. tp lame2 try, insyaallah boleh.
   and mia pnah tebace kt somewhere.. kalo kte niat sungguh2 nk bgon tahajjud,
   siap set alarm dah sume, tp kte still x tersedar lgsg, insyaallah kte dpt pahala tahajjud tu,
   and tido kte yg terlajak tu adalah rezeki yg allah kasi. **sweet =)
   
2. BACA AL-QURAN
   bace quran sebelom terbit matahari supaya first thing yg kte bace utk hari itu adalah
   kalimah2 Allah. if possible, bace terjemahan & fahami maksud skali =)
   
3. JEMAAH DI SURAU/ MASJID PADA WAKTU SUBUH
   bagi yg berkesempatan, dan yg mampu, joinlah solat jemaah..
   biarlah langkahan pertama kte tu ke rumah Allah. pahala jemaah pun 27 kali ganda =)
   
4. SOLAT DHUHA
   yang ni mia dah penah explain panjang dlm entry school hols dulu.
   mia dah gtau waktu, cara, & doa die skali =)
   
5. SEDEKAHkalo ade duet, kasi la sket.. tp make sure ikhlas and x doubt peminta sedekah tu..Allah suke org yg bsedekah, & malaikat jgk mendoakn kesejahteraan org tu.. x mampu nk kasi duet, murahkan la senyuman.. senyum sedekah gak kn? huhu  =)
   
6. JAGA WUDHU'
   maknenye sentiase berade dlm keadaan berwudhu'.. sbb orang yg sentiase berwudhu' akn disayangi allah & malaikat akn doakan die spy diampunkn dose & disayangi Allah =)
   
7. ISTIGHFAR
   yg ni senang sket kn? huhu. slalu la sebut "astaghfirullahal'adzim"
   yg bermaksud : “Aku mohon ampun kepada Allah Yang Maha Agung”
   kalo nk lebih baek, stiap kali sebelum tido, bace lah 3 kali :
   
   "Astaghfirullahal'adzim al-Ladzii Laailaaha Illa
   Huwal Hayyul Qayyuumu wa Atuubu Ilaih"yg bermaksud : Aku memohon ampunan kepada Allah Yang Maha Agung, tiada Tuhan selain Dia Yang Maha Hidup dan Memelihara (kehidupan), dan aku bertaubat kepada-Nya.

first of all, i'd like to clarify the fact that i have zero intention to talk about politics in my entry.
all i want to talk about is the style of education in our country.

from what i've seen in CLA (a french language centre where people come from all over the world to study french), all the asian students do not speak much in class. Compared to the european students, the asians prefer listening, and keeping their thoughts in their head, rather than raising up hands and voicing out the things they have in mind.

when it comes to answering questions, it will always be the europeans who'll volunteer to answer first, -eventhough sometimes they got it wrong. The asians, especially the chinese, they usually know the answer.. they whispered to each other, but they don't have the guts to stand up and give it a try.

why is this happening? it's because of our culture. The beautiful culture that has taught us to be well-mannered, shy, and reserved. Yes, we do have the good culture. but we must know the limit, and we must know where & when to applyit.

In this 'listen-listen' case, i do have my respect for Ms Bavani. because she has the courage to stand up,  walk to the microphone, and voice out whatever she has in mind.- I've been to many talks before, i've seen how the audience act. they have very loud voice when they talk in crowd, but when it comes to Q&A session, individually, especially when the mic is in the middle of the big hall, everyone will start looking at each other, waiting for the brave ones to speak.
secondly, is because of her knowledge. she stated the facts. real facts, based on the partition of the country's budget. well i don't even know that, i never knew how much the country spent on my education and all.. i bet that Sharifah doesn't know it either- it's pretty obvious actually.
so, yeah.. i think what she did was right. students, lecturers, citizens, leaders, we all should have equal right to speak in order to improvise the quality of a system.

As a student, i hope i will have the courage & the knowledge that is necessary.
As a future teacher, i hope i can train my students to be more outspoken.. -outspoken and disrespectful are 2 different things- and what i really hope.. is that i will never deviate from my student's question, to an animal crap that doesn't make sense at all.

NY in London

assalamualaikum =)

i know New York is not in London!  but it's New Year in London!! =D

2013 was my first new year celebration ever!  i used to spend my new year night at home.. & paling hebat pon, waktu millenium, satu family tido depan tv sbb tgk fireworks from all over the world.. but this year, after 21 years, dapatlah mia sambut new year kt lua rumah.. huhu. went to watch fireworks with nabila sarah (14 years schoolmate) at the London Eye!!  yeayy!! ^O^

frankly, malaysia's celebration is more besungguh than london's. concert new year kalo kt Msia kn pkul 9 dah start. Dok menyanyi menari la sampai pkul 12. tp kt london nie pkul 11 lbey bru start pasang lagu. lagu je taw. xde pon concert pape. omputeh pon xde la beriye2 menari sgt pon. yg besungguh menari smpai berdukung2 tu india adela. sbb kt sane ramai gle india. pastu pkul 12, ade fireworks show for 10 minutes, pastu dah.. sume org besurai.. tuje! haha. So maybe Msia boleh relax2 sket kot len kali.. xyah nk concert smpai 4 jam sgt la k.. haha.

and,,, we actually spent a week there. i'll just let the pictures tell the story...
